23.6% of all children in Mississippi face chronic hunger.

That’s about 159,370 kids.

More than 1 in 5 children in Mississippi go to bed hungry most nights.

Hunger hinders learning. Children who are food insecure are more likely to struggle in school, experience developmental delays, and have behavioral issues. But for some children, school meals are their most consistent and nutritious source of food.

Join the Fight against Childhood Hunger

We’re partnering with two Mississippi charities: Blessings for All, Empowered by Faith, and Feeding the Future Mississippi. Both charities run supplemental feeding programs for kids and families across North Mississippi.

Feeding the Future is a backpack feeding program that operates during the school year. It covers Holmes County and nearby communities. In nearby Montgomery county, Blessings for All, Empowered by Faith, operates a summer meal program alongside other activities.

You can help meet support their work today by donating now through our GoFundMe campaign.
